Abstract:
Public spaces are fundamental components of the urban form of the city and are a complex spatial system. As such، careful reading of the history of these areas
showed that they were the medium of choice for many social and spatial practices.
To this end، it is important to understand their evolution and the different mutations that have occurred on its spaces and assert that the regulation that frames these public spaces must be explicit and uniform while clarifying their membership to enhance their management methods and address the maintenance issue and maintenance of these spaces، which constituted for always challenges for city authorities.
In this regard، our study aimed to clarify the evolutionary process of these spaces and their transfer through an analysis methodology that combines three approaches، social، morphological and systemic and is based on a theory that fits our problem while seeking to determine the apparent and non-apparent parameters that are causing physical and visual mutations public spaces and identify the impact of these changes in time on evolution and the spatial organization of the object city 'study.
