Abstract:
Gearboxes and transfer gearboxes case are often critical components of the machine requiring the application of monitoring techniques. Control and diagnosis are important today in most industrial sectors. They consist of measuring physical signals on machines and industrial installations, and then, thanks to their analysis, it is a question of providing a diagnosis of their mechanical state. Product quality control is also part of the same approach and methods and tools for analyzing signals. The use of vibratory signals is relevant because we can understand the dynamic phenomena that we encounter in operating systems (rotating machines, structures ...). The method used to extract and identify the type of defects is escribed in this work. It is shown that this experimental setup provides a good illustration of the practical applications of the basic theory included in vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
