Résumé:
Algerian University library has a key role in the service of their mother foundation in the fields of education and science as it provides the beneficiary members of faculty, researchers and students to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire information from sources.
Many Algerian university libraries have taken electronic information, including electronic scientific periodical, which is distinct from other sources, particularly in the area of use by the beneficiary.
In the face of the growing proliferation of electronic information and the youth and the possibility of transfer, processing and preservation of increased use of electronic
journals university libraries in Algiers, Oran, Batna, to meet the needs of the beneficiaries.
Based on the foregoing, our study deals with the use of scientific journals in all its forms as modern technology either in the form of information or scientific journals across sites or across the Internet. In spite of this tendency of our university libraries, we find it facing challenges as a result of many variables emerging science.
