The Role of AI Tools in Research Methodologies: Perspectives
from Researchers in Algerian Universities

Abstract
In this study, we examine the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in research
methodologies, focusing on the perspectives of researchers from Algerian
universities. A survey was conducted with 9 researchers from three institutions:
Constantine 1 University, Oum El Bouaghi University, and the École Normale
Supérieure Assia Djebar of Constantine. We aimed to explore how AI tools are
integrated into the research process, including researchers’ perceived benefits,
challenges, and ethical considerations
