dc.description.abstract The objective of this thesis concerns principally two major subjects. The main contributions of the first subject of this work are: 1. The problem of generalized synchronization between two chaotic fractional non-commensurate order systems with different dimensions is presented. 2. A new scheme of modified projective synchronization between integer order and fractional order hyperchaotic systems is proposed. In all synchronization schemes, the active controller is employed to analyze the asymptotic stability of the synchronization errors. In the second subject, we propose a new approach to investigate the chaos projective synchronization of the fractional-order hyperchaotic systems as well as that of the secure and confidential information transmitted. Numerical simulations are performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.
