dc.description.abstract |
We have introduced in this manuscript the synthesis of new polyfunctional 1, 2-di
hydroisoquinolines which can be valuable building blocks in synthesis of potential drugs. In
addition, we have synthesized tens of new compounds, by Knoevenagel reaction using
aromatics aldehydes and methylene groups.
The first part of the present manuscript concerns a one pot method for the synthesis of
some novel 3- amino -7-nitro-1,2-dihydro isoquinolines-4-carbonitriles from 2-chloro-5-
nitroalkylbenzylamines and malonitrile to obtain new compounds, which some of them showed
antibacterial activity.
The second part devoted to Knoevenagel reaction, which afforded new olefin
compounds by using aromatics aldehydes and active methylene compounds. |
