Etude phytochimique et biologique de Bituminaria bituminosa(L.)C.H.Stirton (Fabaceae) et Centaaurea dimorphaViv. (Asteraceae)

Abstract

Our research includes the stady of the phytochemical and biological aspects of the two presented species Bituminaria bituminosa(L.) C.H.Stirton. which belongs to Fabaceae family and Centaurea dimorpha Viv. which belongs to Asteraceae family. Several chromatographic methods were used in our work. Thes methods allowed us to isolate four products from B.bituminosa plant (only three have been identified), and five products from C.dimorpha plant (only four have been identified). The identification of structures has been realised by combining the different spectrometric and spectroscopic methods (SMES, UV, RMN-1D,2D). Butanolic extract of B.bituminosa species showed a weak antioxidant capacity. The various extracts of the two studied plants have shown a good antibacterial activity.
