Abstract

The impact of climate warming on the water is currently a highly debated. The subject of the thesis is committed to clarify the influence of climate change on the hydrological Constantine’s. This work is based on three main objectives which begin with a confirmation of the presence of climatic variations in the north Algerian and particularly in the region studied, by monitoring of the two major climatic factors (precipitation which marks a clear decrease followed by a decrease in the rate of runoff and infiltration, and the temperature, which shows a continuous increase with time). The second objective of the study is the tracking of variations of the piezometric level and flows of sources as a function of rainfall events (each decrease of rain is followed by a lowering of the piezometric level and flow of sources either by a quick response, therefore a direct recharge and neighbor, or slow, so a recharge distant). For this reason, this work demonstrates a clear relationship between rainfall events and variations in water level. Finally, the last objective of this study is to find the impact of variations in the rain on the chemistry water. The results show that the conductivity and the concentration in Sulphates follow the rainfall changes, while the chlorides show an inverse relationship with precipitation. This work aims to detect the consequences of climate change on water quantity and quality, allowing us later to take the precautions necessary to avoid shortages (quantity) or the degradation of the quality of the water.
