dc.description.abstract This work is part of a process of deepening knowledge about the functioning of karst aquifers - the karst system of carbonate aquifer the Boumezoug - and karstic resurgences. The source of Boumezoug which lies thirty kilometers south of Constantine belongs to a large regional catchment area, divided into several hydrogeological units interconnected entered (from the mountains of Ain Mlila to the massifs of Constantine). The hydrodynamic behavior isgoverned by the direct recharge from precipitation and transfers of water masses between the hydrogeological units. The source of Boumezoug with an initial rate of environ 650 l/s (before the implementation of a well field to the right of productive faults), is poured as a result of substantial rainfall and snowfall. This source drains the southern mountains water of Guerioune and Fortass, it’s in relation with Hamma aquifers in Constantine. Analysis and interpretation of measurement data, with a variable time flow of drainage, rainfall and groundwater drawdown and conductivity (a hydrological cycle), has allowed us to better understand the hydrodynamic characteristics, methods of charging power and flow of the karst aquifer. In this case, the karst operation is highlighted with it’s character of nonstationarity and non-linearity. The analysis highlights, besides the direct recharge (infiltrationfast response) from rainfall, delayed infiltration (the fissure type) and a transfer of water from the southern massive transiting by a surface Neogene formations.
