Abstract:
The use of the structures increasingly slender reinforced concrete leads to consider their buckling stability. This phenomenon and the recognition of the non-linearity behaviour laws of materials no longer allow analytical calculations.
The main objective of the present thesis is to realise interaction diagrams of slender columns reinforced concrete subjected to eccentric loading using a proposed calculation program. The numerical approach is based on finite difference method associated to the method of tangential stiffness matrix. This digital approach determines for all combinations given (N - M) of collapse, all of these points are a break curve or N-M interaction curve that takes into account the effect of slenderness.
The study of the effects of parameters such as slenderness, concrete strength, eccentricity and the yield stress of reinforcement are taken into account in the design of interaction diagrams.
Finally some conclusions and perspectives are proposed.
