This thesis is contribution to the implementation of the predictive direct power control applied for two-level and three-level NPC PWM rectifiers and its neutral voltage midpoint balancing of the DC bus capacitors as well as the introduction of this technique for the control of doubly fed induction generator based on wind energy. Simulation of these methods was performed using the Matlab / Simulink TM software.
