Biodiversité de l’Orthoptérofaune (Criquets et Sauterelles) de la région de Sétif et étude de quelques aspects chimique et génétique

Abstract

In the context of studying the biodiversity of orthopterfauna (Grasshoppers and Katydids) of the region of Setif, an inventory was conducted in three different ecosystems to determine the different species in the region. The diversity and abundance of this group of insects were evaluated between 2007 and 2009 in a fallow land, a reforestation of Aleppo pine and a wetland. Altogether 44 species were identified with 35 species of Caelifera and 9 species Ensifera (Katydids) distributed between 26 genus and 5 families. The Acrididae is widely predominated including 6 subfamilies. 13 new species are added to the region of Setif. Integrated taxonomic methods, morphological, chemical and genetic were applied to 8 acridid species including Calliptamus barbarus , C.wattenwylianus, Oedipoda miniata, Acrotylus patruelis, A. insibricus, Sphingonotus maroccanus, Pseudosphingonotus finotianus, Sphingoderus carinatus . The results revealed for every species his various components of cuticular hydrocarbons and his DNA sequence. New taxonomic criteria are retained for certain species and supplemented for others.
