To appreciate the effects of the air pollution, we studied the impact of the
natural vegetation on the interception, the transfer and the mobility of lead and
nickel, metals resulting from the iron and steel complex (SIDER) of El Hadjar, like
on the mobility of these two metals on the level of the soil (on the surface and indepth). The proportioning of lead and nickel in all the samples at summer carried out
by spectriscopy of atomic absorption (SAA). The results obtained reveal on the
level of the soil a great mobility of nickel compared to lead on the surface and indepth. On the level of the natural vegetation, vegetable specificity in the foliar
accumulation of these two metals intervenes, the mastic tree accumulates much
more nickel that lead, on the other hand, the olive-tree accumulates much more lead
that nickel. The presence of these two metals in the vegetation of the area of study,
considered as a zone of pasture forthe population bordering constitutes a true threat
on the public health. |
