Starting from the hypothesis taht there is a repetition/variation examining the xorks of
Rachid Boudjedra and Yasmina Khadra a repetitive writing as manfested by the abundance of
figures of repetition, by the thematic recurrence, the return of personage ant the return of the
places. Our thesis attemts to answer this question : how and way the two authors-practice this
dichotomy between repetition and variation ?
Spefically, this research has allowed us to define several figures of repetition, to bring out
certain effects, to stydy how the recurring themes provide the new text to the other, to analyse
the different and similar gobs of return of ceratin personage and certain places in the chosen
corpus, and finally, to clarify the differences and similarities of management of creative
repetition of these two authors.
Theoretical nature, the opening of this work begins with a summary of several inescapable
approaches of reptition (Gerard Genet, Marie-Laure Bardèche and Gilles Deleuze), the
repetition figures (Madeleine Fréderic) and the origin of the repetition (Sigmund Freud and
Jacques Lacan). Within that same introduction, we also convene other names, to reinforce
those approaches.
The pratical part is divised into two stages, the first includes two cases : the first is about
repetition figures, and the second is about phrasal repetition, the second contains two
chapters, one devoted to the thematic recurrence and the other to return of personage and
places. However, the dissimilarities ans similarities between the two writes are synthesized in
a comparative conclusion.
The exam of these restart and these returns reveals that repetition/variation creates the new
and participates in the development of the theme, the emergence of language and ideological
baldness and poetics of inter, the « déjà-écrit ». |
