dc.description.abstract Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) leverage advanced in- formation and communication technologies to enhance the safety and efficiency of road transport. The integration of sensors, whether embed- ded in vehicles or city infrastructure, provides real-time data on traf- fic conditions and weather, which is crucial for optimizing road usage. This paper proposes an ontology-based architecture to create a stan- dardized framework for managing and exchanging information between various transport applications. By utilizing Semantic Web technologies and RDF-based data representation, the system ensures interoperability and facilitates knowledge sharing. The framework stores collected data in a hierarchical ontology, allowing for detailed statistical analysis to identify recurring issues and provide real-time insights. The proposed solution aims to enhance decision-making processes for both traffic man- agement systems and individual vehicles, offering access to the latest updates and frequently observed problems. The implementation of this architecture can significantly improve urban mobility and reduce conges- tion, contributing to smarter and safer cities fr_FR
