dc.description.abstract In the face of climate challenges and the depletion of fossil resources, a transition to renewable energy is imperative. In this context, Algeria is harnessing its considerable solar potential, particularly in agricultural irrigation, where optimal water management is crucial. Our project offers an innovative solution: an automated solar irrigation system based on two main innovations. On one hand, we utilize a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm that significantly improves solar panel efficiency, especially in cases of partial shading, thus surpassing the performance of conventional techniques such as the P&O method. On the other hand, we have implemented complete automation through a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) coupled with sensors, ensuring precise system control. The simulation conducted in the Zribet el Oued region, located in Biskra, Algeria, confirms the system's effectiveness: it can provide 33 m³ of water daily with an elevation of 14 meters. This achievement demonstrates that it is possible to combine energy performance with responsible water management in agriculture, thanks to the combination of photovoltaic optimization and automation. fr_FR
