dc.description.abstract This study investigates the impact of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) on driver behavior and road safety in Annaba, Algeria, with a particular focus on how these systems influence compliance with traffic regulations and reduce accident rates in an urban environment with developing infrastructure. Using a mixed-methods approach, we combined quantitative traffic data with qualitative insights from driver surveys to assess behavioral changes. Additionally, the SUMO (Simulation of Urban MObility) tool was employed to model traffic flows and simulate ITS scenarios, such as adaptive signal control and automated speed enforcement. fr_FR
