This research is part of a study of the relation linking between the popular heritage and the Algerian novelist creativity. The popular heritage is a living material that carries a cognitive and artistic momentum; it is rejuvenated by the renewal of the narrative vision, and is ready to assimilate the imminent transformations at the level of the narrative text in their various manifestations. Through posing a set of questions about: -The nature of the universal relation between what is of individual authorship and of modern formation, which is subject to the rules of the written character, and between the popular collective creativity through time? and the limits of the relation and its extensions? - And the formula by which the novelist could combine between the individual and the collective without losing each one’s own existence? about the forms and images of this formula? -Did the novelist win the challenge of modernization in return for the loss of widespread reception, especially in light of the problems of receiving the inherited popular material? We have attempted to reach an answer in five texts belonging to the unique corpora and surprise, by the Algerian novelist Wacini Laredj, namely: - Nuwwar al-Lawz -Almond Blossoms-(The epic journey of Saleh bin Amer Al-Zoufri). - The remainder of the biography of Lakhdar Hamroushe. -Faji'at al-Layla al-Sabi'a ba'd al-Alf, Raml al-Maya 1/2 (The Disaster of the Seventh Night after the One Thousand Night, Raml al-Maya, 1/2). - al-Makhtuta al-Sharqiyya - The eastern manuscript. -Jumlukiat Arabia- The Republic Kingdom of Arabia. We assumed that the popular heritage, in all its sections and branches, has become a fundamental reference in the construction of the novelist architecture. It carried out other functions that diverge from the original function that put foundations of art in the environment through an exceptional ability for inspiration and employment; and led to bringing out the inherited popular material as a value with its dynamic and effective presence in the service of narrative intent.
