Simulation numérique des transferts de chaleur et de masse en milieux poreux saturés de fluide dans différents espaces annulaires
MetadataAfficher la notice complète
The heat and mass transfer by laminar and steady natural convection in two-dimensional horizontal elliptical annular space filled with a fluid-saturated porous medium is analyzed numerically using our calculation code based on the finite volumes method and under the vorticity-stream function formulation by solving the equations of continuity, momentum, energy and concentration, using Darcy's law and Boussinesq’s approximation. Both walls bounding the annular space are maintained at uniform temperatures and concentrations. The flow-related control parameters are Rayleigh-Darcy number, Lewis number and buoyancy ratio. The geometrical control parameters are the inclination angle and the eccentricities of the elliptical cylinders. The heat and mass transfer by natural convection is studied for both cooperating and opposing buoyancies. The locals and the averaged Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are presented in term ofthe control parameters.
